Among the search results would be individual upcoming talk shows that the actor is scheduled to appear on. On Directv DVRs, you use to be able to search for an actor/actress and see all upcoming programs that they are listed in as part of the cast and crew. It might have been around the time when the search capability changed from being called search to being called smart search. Several months ago, a major part of the Directv DVR search capability stopped working correctly.
